The Public Works Department is staffed with employees who are responsible for maintaining all Borough property. This includes streets, parking lots, rights-of-way, and buildings. Duties of public works employees also include all aspects of the daily operations, maintenance and repair of the storm water system, water distribution and sewer system facilities.
They perform many routine Borough services including: snow removal, mowing, as well as all maintenance functions required of a community that has approximately 3 miles of roads.
