2025 Trash Pickup Information & Rates
The Borough contracts with Tri-County Industries for Garbage collection and curbside pickup which is on Tuesday each week. Pleaser place your Tri-County Industries bin/cart at the road the Monday night. Please make sure you follow the instructions on the top of the bin/cart for placement of the bin/cart at the road.
Residents may schedule a pickup with Tri-County Industries to dispose of electronics and household hazardous waste all year round. To see details on this issue, please click here
Effective 8/1/2025, Trash/Garbage Rates are as follows:

Garbage Pick-Up Restrictions:
- Garbage must be placed in the bin/cart provided by Tri-County Industries. Lawn debris will be picked up.
- Weekly garbage pick-up is limited to normal household refuse.
- Residents who have large items such as mattresses, appliances, etc. must call Tri-County Industries at (724) 748-4705 to schedule a pickup. There is NO additional charge for bulk item pickup. Mattresses must be wrapped in plastic.
Utility bills are prepared and mailed bimonthly (every two months- January, March, May, July, September and November) for Water, Sewer & Trash.
Water/sewer/trash bills can be paid at the Borough office – 631 Elm Street, Tionesta, or mailed to PO Box 408, Tionesta, PA 16353.
* Senior Citizen Definition is anyone 62 years of age or older
** Seasonal Owners MUST call us to start and stop service, otherwise you will be billed as a regular residential account. Seasonal Owners will be billed for the months their services are active.
