2026 Water
Utility bills are prepared and mailed bimonthly (every two months) for Water, Sewer & Trash.
Billing occurs after the two months of usage. Ex: March bill is for January and February usage.
Water rates are set by the Borough Council – 2026 rates are as follows: (The flat rate listed is the bimonthly rate)
All metered customers will be imposed a $10 base fee per billing period for all structures in the Borough that are hooked up to the water system (whether the service is on or off), effective 1/1/2026.

Water Tap Fees:
$300.00 plus all related costs, including, but not limited to meter fittings, boring, and service line
Water/sewer/trash bills can be paid at the Borough office – 631 Elm Street, Tionesta, or mailed to PO Box 408, Tionesta, PA 16353.
Homeowners may have their water turned off due to construction or remodeling, vacation, etc. The fee to turn services on again is $40.00 and will be included on the subsequent bill.
If water service is turned off due to non-payment of bill, significant charges will be assessed.
