Tionesta Borough Council is delighted to highlight the exceptional creativity and talent flourishing within our community. With immense excitement, we proudly reveal the winner of the Borough Logo initiative: ninth-grade student Maddie Schmitt of West Forest Jr./Sr. High School!
The Mayor and Council members reviewed four entries from the ninth-grade art class that showcased the artistic ingenuity of our local youth, and Maddie Schmitt created a simple, but classic design that represents our community.
This achievement not only reflects the remarkable creativity of Maddie Schmitt, but also underscores the collaborative partnership between the Forest Area School District and local government in nurturing and fostering creativity among our youth. West Forest Art Teacher, Michelle Mazur was instrumental in working with us on this project and her outstanding teaching skills were evident in the efforts of her students – Thank You Mrs. Mazur!
As we celebrate this accomplishment, let’s reaffirm our commitment to supporting and empowering the next generation of artists, innovators, and leaders in our community. Together, we can continue to cultivate an environment where creativity flourishes and dreams take flight.
